Chen Arad is the Co-founder and Chief External Affairs Officer (CXO) of Solidus Labs, an agentic-powered multi-asset trade surveillance and compliance solutions provider. Named a category-definer for crypto market surveillance by Citigroup, Solidus Labs equips financial institutions, digital asset firms, and regulators with cross-asset risk monitoring solutions to detect and prevent market manipulation and financial crime in today’s most complex trading environments. The firm monitors more than 250 million trading events daily, analyzing $16 trillion in value, and protecting approximately 25 million retail and institutional entities. Arad leads Solidus Labs’ market engagement, policy and communications strategy, working closely with the firm’s regulatory and strategic partners to proactively promote integrity standards in the digital asset industry. He is an appointed member of the US CFTC’s Global Markets Advisory Committee, a Founding Advisory Council Member and Market Integrity Chair of Global Digital Finance, where he led the development of a market integrity and shared surveillance Codes of Conduct for the crypto industry as early as 2018. Arad is also a winner of the New York Department of Financial Services’ Virtual Asset supervision Tech Sprint and a founder of the Digital Asset Compliance and Market Integrity Summit and Podcast. As part of his role in Solidus, Arad has led the founding of the Crypto Market Integrity Coalition (CMIC), established by Solidus Labs alongside leading industry partners like Coinbase and Circle, focused on convening digital asset market participants around integrity standards. CMIC has more than 50 members including 30 trading platforms who signed and committed in writing to its market integrity pledge. Arad is a frequent expert speaker on industry panels and media outlets, and regularly appears on CNBC, Bloomberg Businessweek, Coindesk TV and other publications.
